Whilst speaking to my dad the other day, he gave me one peice of advice which i shall never forget.

"If the opportunity arises, take a dump at work. There is nothing worse then getting home at the end of the day and wasting your own time *****ing. What better thing is there then getting paid to take a dump?"

I cant dump at work as the toilets are shared with the public and they somehow manage to dump on the back of the toilet seat.
but..."IT'S ALRIGHT LADS I ALWAYS POO BEFORE I GET UP"! :D

I don't follow this logic at all, time spent in the loo is surely the same anywhere you spend it. Surely he would be rather better simply getting the job done, and then going home to take the poo in the comfort of his own home.

Getting paid to babysit! :D

Had some guys in the other day at work and I had to supervise them. We sat in a room, ate sarnys and watched tv for 3 hours. Bargain.

This sounds like the sort of thing that only applies if you work in a call centre or some other place where you ask if its ok to go home.

Hmm... An example, you are a labourer, grafting away. When suddenly your bowels start to rumble.

A 30 minute respite, all expenses paid, is surely not a bad thing?

So advice only applicable to paid by the hour staff who have no financial interest in the work load? Not fantastic, who actually works like that other than students and bum factory workers? Even at that level you are paid to work, not to sit taking unpaid breaks.

I would have thought quite a few people get an hourly rate...

Thats right, about 90% of the UK workforce

Does it make the advice to waste your employers time and money any better? Its no different to stealing something from them of equivalent value to the labour time. Annoys me that people have this kind of attitude towards their employers, that's all. The "take as much as you can for the least effort" is an attitude which causes serious problems.

Stop moaning.
