Your First Ever Game....

It's scary how new a lot of people's first games were...

Mine was some 3D Maze game on a very early console when my older cousin brough it round one christmas to show off. 3D Ant attack? Something like that. It had a first-person view of a maze and there were giant ants. I think I'd have been about 4 so this would be 1983.
First games I regularly played were Gauntlet, Trap Door and Ghostbusters on the Spectrum.

EDIT: No, after having a look, 3D ant attack was isometric, not first person. No idea what it was called then.

G-Police, on a 350mhz P2 that the family got in 1999. Hey, I know that's only 9 years ago, but I'm only 21!

It'll have been when I was around 5 and got my Atari ST in around 1990/91 for christmas :)

I used to love that thing, don't know which was my first, but I got a huge bundle of games with it (3.5" floppy disks yo!) and didnt by any new :o

R-Type, Nebulus, Buggy Boy, Beyond The Ice Palace, Gauntlet 2, Thundercats, Bombjack, Predator, Xenon, Double Dragon, Afterburner, Star Ray, Overlander, Pac Man, Outrun etc

'Hopper', although more well known versions of it were called 'Frogger' I think... On my Acorn Electron!

You have to love the old Acorn Electron, and BBC Micros.!

I played a great game on an electron...think it was called frak. Was a caveman game....

Loved it....also loved 3d death chase

Mine was probably Parsec on a Texas Instruments Ti99A in the early eightes.
Great game, and the computer I believe was quite advanced at the time and was one of the few with speech capabilities.

Whatever came bundled with the Amiga 600 in 1992 - I think it was "Silly Putty", F1 Grand Prix (not sure which version) and another block/puzzle game.

The first game I bought, per-se, was F16 Combat Pilot for the same platform.

First game I ever played? well, There was some games on my uncles Commodore 64, including Snooker(can't remember if it was named after a pro or something), and another game which name I can't remember.

First game I can really remember playing though was Doom on my uncles 486, scared the **** out of me, although not as much as Quake did when that was released, had nightmares about them zombies lol.

First game I ever owned though was Carmageddon on my first PC, think it was an IBM 200Mhz jobby lol. still think the original was an absolutely fantastic game, especially once I upgraded to a 16Mb VooDoo3 lol.
