Your First Ever Game....

first games would be one of those grandstand tv game unit thing's, but most memorable ones are :

defender - vcs, I hit over 5,000,000 in one session when my mate kindly pulled the plug on it. I snotted him senseless back then but looking back can't say I blame him poor sod sat watching me for hours.

max payne - first pc game played what a cracking intro to pc gaming

super mario world - first serious console game, serious as in had me completely hooked until clearing it all

impossible mission for the c64

"another visitor, stay awile, stay foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr", loved that game..

It was either some random F1 driving game on the NES round my uncles when I was 2 (which I melted, from playing it for too long apparently! :)) or super mario bros on the NES.

1st game I owned was Sonic 1 on the megadrive when I was 3 :)

1st game

48k Spectrum with Manic Miner (still not completed - I can get to level 19 of 20 with no cheats), Orbiter (defender clone) and Hungry Horace

First game I played was Pong / Asteroids on an Atari (2000?)

Manic Miner/Jet Pack on a specky 16k (I had a zx81 but dont remember any games from it)

my first pc game was Duel II I think with a Porsche 959 vs Ferrari of some kind

Edit -

That was the Atari we had :)

i have no idea it will have been something on the amiga... my earliest memory was r-type i think but im sure ive played other games on it before that.

Ummm it was a Mario platformer on the SNES i was 3 i think, started young :)
Then i remember when i was 5 or 6 my older brother borowed Mortal Combat or a game simular to it only until my dad banned it haah.

Was at a mate's house, but details are vague - anyone remember a Toshiba home computer (possibly MSX) from around 84 ?

Was a turn based survival game with some relation to predators/prey. Google isn't much use, it's just too obscure.
