Is it wrong not to like clubbing?

You seem to be very easily annoyed, you should try a more laid back approach, stop being so judgemental over people because of the clothes they wear and take it easy. If something feels good, do it, if it doesn't feel good then don't, but don't moan because other people enjoy it.

I'm actually a very laid back person. I just have a few issues with some of the people who I have seen dressed like a **** and yet they feel they have the right to comment on others dress sense.
I admit, sweats, baller trainers, random t'shirt etc aren't the typical 'in' thing to wear but I never commented on anyone as it's there choice until now.
I went passed a club and for someone to wear hardly nothing and then slate me and not realise that there are people out there who still have old fashioned morals. I believe that you shouldn't flaunt loads of your body as there are people out there with low self esteem and that wouldn't help them. Also believe if you with someone you should allow others to see nearly every part of your body. Many times I have heard lads saying 'I bet she's easy' about a girl with hardly anything on.

I feel uncomfortable going to clubs - I mearly answerd the thread.
I'm only having a dig at those who feel people who don't go to clubs and wear very little are weird, hence me saying in 1st post I know not everyone is like that.

Is there something wrong with me?

I dont like clubbing, does this make me a weird person? I'd rather go to a pub with friends and chill and drink and not go to a club and stand on a dance floor all night, I also dont like dancing.

Is it wrong?

It's wrong that you're posting on OcUK asking if your preferences are wrong.

Crap music played too loud. Impossible to hear anyone speak unless they shout right in your ear. When you leave you have ringing ears for 30 mins and probably permenant hearing damage.

Too crowded, you can barely move and it takes 30 mins to buy drinks.

The type of people that usually go clubbing are gimps.

What's the point?

Like I say I know not everyone who goes to clubs dress like this but from experiences of just seeing some of the people who go out, I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself.

Lot's of my mates dress like this when they go to a big club night, you'd be amazed at the time and effort that gets spent making and designing the outfits. Personally I don't dress like it but it adds a lot of fun to the night.

Wow, you've been to some pretty crappy clubs. Not every club plays crappy music that's too loud for the sound system & not every club is too crowded.

Yes, people who go clubbing are gimps, alrighty then...

And the point is... fun :)

I don't like women clubbing. But I'll hit back in self defense!!! :D

Did it for a bit when I was younger but I don't now because I want my preferred ale house to smell nice, not rip me off, have the ability to have a conversation and I don't want to go into a toilet full of vomit, drug users and people having sex.

If I want to pick up women I'll go to Tesco as they aren't drunk, I am not drunk and at least I won't be in for a suprise (and AIDS) in the morning.

I thought all nightclubs were ear perforatingly loud? The ones I have been to are way too loud and I cant wait to leave them. It'd be better if they turned the volume down a bit

I also know people who take their time preparing and designing their outfits and if their enjoying themselves I'm happy for them. They don't judge me on the fact I don't like clubs and I don't judge them and thats cool. I only don't like the people who feel they have the right to comment on myself and yet they feel offended when I retaliate.

Not wrong, I've got mates who always prefer a nice night in the pub, I sometimes do.
I like sometimes to get up and have a dance in a club, or go to a loud music bar but it's probably every other weekend if that.

It's the attitude of some clubbers I don't like, buying BOTTLES or BUDWEISER because it's "cool". That really ****es me off a treat. And when blokes drink wkd.

I don't mind the bog standard club but tbh they get boring.

A favourite of mine round here is reflex the 80's bar, brilliant music, cheap drink, bouncers and bar staff are absolutely awesome. It has chrome poles to dance on and it's open til 3 in the morning. It doesn't have the club ***'s afore mentioned either. If I end up going to anywhere after a pub it's usually there.

Are those Reflex 80's bars all over or something, one of them in York aswell.

Its quite ironic that the most abusive comments in this are being made by people who don't like clubbing.

I love clubbing, I love my music, having a laugh with my mates if I pull then its a bonus.
