This thread was a bad influence on my life.... ended up buying a V1000Z to replace my Akasa Eclipse 62, a really nice upgrade in every aspect.
 
Hey guys, I finally got round to the cable management! Prepare for 56k beatdown! Took me around 3 hours and a couple of broken fingers (not rly but close!)

Oh and yes i did remove the optical drive! less cables / more tidy and no need for 1 when i have a usb drive handy :)

For some odd reason the link didn't work for me, but theres almost nothing you can't google and I have to say thats one nice case :) wonder if they'll do one with a door
 
The one thing that really annoys me about the V series Lian Li's is the placement of the hole for the PSU cables, they always put it too near the back of the case. I had to do what you have done on my V2100 and leave the PSU sticking out of the back, right pain in the ***!

Other than that looks very nice mate, will you not need an optical drive for game installations etc?

haha yea thats true!

Yea i have a usb optical drive so no point having one in the case :)
 
Jonnylaris did you have any problem lining your mobo with the blanking plate at the back of the case?

I have posted in a different thread that mine doesnt line up and I cant access the I/O on the back.......
