++Guitar Hero World Tour unoffical thread++

They look very boring tbh, just as boring as the aerosmith ones - I like achievements that actually require effort and ones I can work towards :p
 
Completely unimpressed with the DLC announced so far, apart from the Metallica album I've already purchased.
 
No but the MS ad suggested RB2 in Nov.

Announcement of date I've also heard nowt :(

Would be awesome if they were out the same day though :>

It's a shame the rock band controllers are **** ... guitar hero guitars are so much better + the bonus of having them wireless.

Getting this + rock band 1/2 solus :D

The RB2 controller looks just as crap as the first did, thus I also predict it feels just as bad as it looks. To me rockband has nothing on GH, its nowhere near as fun. I don't want to ruin this thread by debating it because RB shouldn't be discussed in this thread period :)

I would agree if the guitar hero guitar didn't **** up after a few months.

I wasn't asking you, I was asking the person that said the RB controllers are crap. GHWT is not in competition with RB1's instruments it's in comp with RB2's.

I hated the RB guitar apart from the silent strum, RB2's guitar is not the same nor are the madcatz instruments.

I like the way people are naturally assuming that GH's instruments are going to work and be great without even trying them. They dont have a good history on the instruments either.

I know I was just adding my opinion :p - Im basing my judgement on the fact that the rockband 2 guitar LOOKS like the rb1 guitar (which was crap) so then common sense makes me think that the rb2 guitar will be just as crap as it was last time.

I prefer the look of the world tour instruments too, sometimes common sense does come into the equation :)
 
I don't care about either instruments as soon as that $200 full size wooden fender comes out I'm buying it. Til then I will make do with what I have :)
 
mmmm oddly enough it only seems to be the band bundle that has date slipped.

The guitar pack and Game only still seem to be due for release on the 7th of Nov.
Problems with the drums maybe ?

I doubt it, it comes out either the 24th or the 26th of this month in the US, that would be getting pushed back too
