Umbrella's

Blimey.

Everyone's SO scared of looking gay!

I want to hug my man without getting soaked. I'd love him to be able to lead me in a dance. I like him noticing when I've made that bit of extra effort for him in my appearance. I like to hear character in his voice and see expression in his face. I enjoy his cooking.

Are people suppressing the good stuff in gay-fear?

nope. This is exactly the view we recieve that gets so tiring. Most of the guys on this forum are proud to say they can cook, we do see changes in peoples appearence (observational skills aren't any better in homosexuals), we have character. Yes men find it harder to express themselves thats a fact. Its only a minority of people who are so worried about looking gay.

I don't use an umbrella because I don't have to carry a coat, I can just wear it.

I wear a wool coat and as such it isn't good in heavy rain; that's my umbrella justification :)

Id have no problem with using an umbrella, infact i have done and im certainly not gay ! Anyone a can be uncomfortable. I would rather be dry than wet. The only time i wouldnt use one is if it was windy - for obvious reasons and anyway you look like a prat when it gets either blown out of your hand and your chasing around the street or it gets blown inside out.

It's just that all those things are un-natural for men.

It fits in my manbag, I don't care!

We get it, you're camp and want people to know it, no need to go on about it.

Just get one of those umbrellas combines with a flamethrower - one of the bad guys had one in james bond... I doubt anyone will take the **** then. :D

Oh if you do get an umbrella it has to be a big manly one (not a golf one though) or the one that opens and closes itself, although the mechanism lasts about 5 minutes with most guys.

Lol people think too much these days. It's raining, you don't want to get wet, what are you going to do? Get something to cover you from getting wet, yes?

Obviously not these days. First you have to think about whether you look right under an umbrella. Why do people care so much about what others think about them?

It's ridiculous.

I don't need no stinkin' umbrella. I grab the nearest baby I can find and hold it high over my head because that's how much of a man I am. I also return said baby back via the post because I'm a kind man.

I don't care if you look gay or not with an umbrella, what I do care about is the people who don't have the consideration with where they are wielding said umbrella. If you do have one don't be a tool about where you are waving that umbrella, do me the courtesy of not hitting me in the face with it and we'll get along just fine.

Yeah there are a lot of inconsiderate folks about. I do have a golf umbrella sometimes, but I do make sure I raise it up and away from other people, or walk out into the road if it looks like an umbrella-collision is incoming...
