Walking from a nice warm house into a 0c outdoors with a few drinks down you can amplify things *a lot*.

I come home from work this way and it made me shudder when I thought she had done it on foot.
That place is very scarey for drivers let alone somebody who is walking & drugged.
She went from A and ended up lying in the gutter of the 1st lane.
There are so many cameras around I was amazed that she wasn't seen and coppers sent.

Yes, loads of them.
She wandered outside and she must have rang a taxi and then wandered off.
It was only when the taxi driver knocked on the door for her that they realised she was gone.

How did her friends not notice how bad she was getting? Even if everyone was a bit drunk you can sense when there is something wrong.

Glad you found her but how did you know she had definitely been drugged? I think it's all too easy for girls to claims they have been drugged when they have had a few too many. Not saying this actually happened, but would be interesting to find out....

The Doctor came at around 4am and by that time she was saying she had only had 2 bottles and I believe her because I know she can drink like a fish.
When I found her lying on the dual carriageway she told me she hadn't been drinking.
I've seen too many drunks to know the difference between drunk and being completely out there.
She didn't smell of drink either.

I've been fairly sceptical of this as well. It's far easier for a girl to claim that she's been drugged etc., and get the resulting sympathy then to admit too much was consumed.

No disrespect intended dmpoole, but also don't forget at house parties "measures" are very very loosely adhered to. It is entirely possibly far more was drunk then possibly realised.

Hope she's ok - and finding her on the dual carriage way - jesus, that's not nice fella

I don't know if if I'm being naive here, but I know that you can get special bungs that go into the top of bottles to prevent spiking. Are these widely available for people, especially girls, to take to parties?

Glad that your daughter's all right. Our daughter is the same age, so I'll be having a word with her.

Yeah you get them in a lot of bars but to be fair it's not the thing you would initally think of at a family party.
