Are there much differences? Serious impulse purchase - and only because Ive literally just built my new PC with some extra bits and still need to put the OS in (which was gonna happen this weekend :p)

All reference design mate so it really is pot luck in terms of how well they clock and stuff :)
 
i missed out on the last 280's which were £229.00 and kicked myself so once i seen this it was a no brainer.

To be honest with all the site outages recently i wouldnt even have been on this site today if i hadnt been off work so its all fell into place quite nicely, day off work and a new 280 gtx :)

The cards range from GTX 280 performance to onces with mild factory overclocks, you would not be dissapointed with any card we are shipping for this price.

Don't order very often, but my whole rig is pure OCuK provided... and i visit the forums everyday.
Just ordered.... Hoping for something good.
Do you think i will be able to run a GTX280 and a 8800GTS512 ona HX620 PSU (physx) ?

lol J1nxy that's what you'd deserve for being greedy :p I seriously wish I could get 2 though, but I'd be living off fresh air for the next few months.

Yewen, how close is my order to being shipped (OC734830), I'm looking forward to it :D God I'm impatient.

Yeah same here mate, regretted not doing it in all honesty.

Though I have been rewarded for my prudence as have you.

It's a cracking deal and will sit nicely alongside my other components and with a max res of 1650x1080 I cant see myself needing anything more than this for a long time :)

I think you may be pushing it slightly but Corsairs are great PSU's....

Give it a go why not but will you really need the 8800GTS right now for physix? I think the GTX 280 will handle it just fine :)

Im kinda the opposite - first time Ive been able to access the site from work (just come back from an op) - Im always one of those guys that double checks everything before buying and asks opinions, so this is quite a new experience :p

Just glad I get paid next week...

Report back if you do that as Im considering the same thing with those parts too (though it would eat away all the useful expansion slots on my P5Q) - I expect the GTX280 is ample to do Physx and GFX though and adding the 8800GTS G92 wont make a discernible difference...

EDIT: Bugger Id better u/g my E5200 now :/:D

For the first time in nearly a week the OC website is actually reachable without a proxy and what do I see? A must buy GTX280 when I just got myself a GTX260/216. Well.. I went for it anyway, I can sell the 260 for more than I paid for the 280 thanks to the lovely £:€ ratio :P

Now let's win this lottery and go for the EVGA!
 
wonder if they will tell us in the despatch email what brand we got?

Mine wont arrive till monday as im in Northern Ireland but once it arrives ill chuck my 4870 on MM and it should half the cost of my GTX if it sells for what i hope :)
