Had my SVA date come through yesterday,Friday 11th March

Got to cancel it and hopefully have it on the 16th got to get my finger out and get it done.

I'm curious as to why these cars are called '7' style cars, what significance is the word 7? I know it was used by Lotus and then the design licensed to Caterham, but what does the number 7 actually mean?

Nice, often if you make something yourself it's immensely satisfying.

If you guys want some light wheels I think Audi made some pepperpot style 15"'s that were fitted to recent A3's and weigh something silly like 5kg each. I have no clue if the BCD of anything would fit but I would think with a bike engine the less unsprung weight the better.

any reason why you chose the zero kit? I've considered the zero myself, but have just taken delivery of an SE build manual from Westfiled with specifics around duratec fitment

I've only got around £7.5k to start the build but i'm thinking it's going to take close to 8-10 months anyway.

As for why I've chosen the zero, it's just fantastic value for what you get and the guys seem very helpful which is useful should I require any assistance during the build.

I do like the CSR wheels but they just look daft imo (see - I said IMO!) being so small - I could seriously consider a 15" set if I could find them for reasonable money

My Kahn's came it at 6.8kg a wheel.
