Probably apples way of making you get the iphone 3g. lol

BS. All phones can MMS over GSM (GPRS / EDGE). Even iPhone 1 with SwirlyMMS can.

Are we able to get the beta iphone OS 3.0 today, or are we going to just have to be teased until the summer?

the legit app to recieve mms is fantastic, and when they bring down the price to send them I think that will be fine as well. I think its a better made app then swirly mms imo

Developers get it today, for the emulator. You have to wait till "Summer"

I ment the current mms app, it works fine with V1 iPhone, its just you have to buy credits to send a pic

So did they say they were doing to add tethering?

At least I now can buy a shiny 3g without the fear of something new coming out soon after.

If you mean the current mms app on the appstore at present, that is nothing like Swirly. The latter is a full blown proper MMS app in its own right. There is a big difference between Swirly and virtually any other mms app out there.

Well I'm very pleased by all of this - I can't wait to get TomTom for my iPhone and cut 'n paste will be useful.

It's a shame there's still no background app support though. As someone said before in this thread they could at least have a feature which enabled it to work when you're plugged into a power-source. I want to be able to use Nightstand and Wunder Radio at the same time damnit!
