I believe he is referring to the fact the first island you come too (after the video) - there are 2 gems and a gun you can sell which literally takes 30 seconds to pick up, quit, save, repeat.
Would get a tad boring though, so I try too mix up the chapters when farming to stop it getting too boring

fastest way i have found so far is to start 5-3, run up ladder, collect the gem in the safe (3k) then run to the hanger and spawn 2 reapers from the ceiling and kill easily with the hawk handgun (10k) save/quit then continue which starts u at the door for the hanger, i can collect around 100k in 40mins approx

I was thinking the same, especially the latter stages, even the music sounds similar!
And regarding your spoiler...if you don't see someone die for sure I reckon there is always a chance they'll be back
Just rinsed this through on veteran in 4 hours. Easy with a magnum but i still get owned by the insect like enemies that can single kill you
Unlocked a Infinite Rocket Launcher though so think that'll make Pro a bit easier 
I tried single player the other night briefly and decided it was terrible, I'll wait till I can co-op before playing this again.

Those things are so annoying!!!! I find the Gatling gun makes mince meat out of them though!!

I did 2-2 and 2-3 yesterday evening, wow, wow, wow
Also did some grinding at the beginning of 3-1 where I would pick up the Ruby Pear, Beetle and two vases at the beginning, quit, save and start again.
This gets you 2k in 1 minute with some ammo pickups but it is very tedious and repetitive but I did it 15 times so I could upgrade my pistol and shotgun.

Just played it yesterday, I absolutely hate co-op, doesn't feel like resident evil at all to me when playing online, where's the the build of tension? complete run an gun (well run, stop, gun) from the expierence I had online.
I hate playing SP with the computer also, damn sheva constantly running all over my screen and in my light of sight, behind me, infront of me, back and forth, never ending. It's just annoying given the limited view space you already have for this type of camera to work.
The item management ingame is a chore to say the least and breaks up the flow of the gameplay I find.
I don't remember the AI baddies being this dumb from RE4 either, but I'm sure I'm looking at it with rose tinted specs on, I just didn't realise how dated the RE4 type AI attack patterns feel nowadays.
Lastly, I'm tired of hearing "come on" and "ROGER!" a million times.

addicted to merc mode now, how do I unlock the other chars tho?
Anyone been able to get an A or even an S on teh first merc map as Chris?
29.5k is my highest score, I just cannot get higher than that :/ and thats a B.
Nice points tho next unlock I think is inf ammo for the auto shotgun which I found myself using the most during the game other than the barretta.
Am I right in thinking there are 3 different magnums?
The standard 6 shot magnum appears o have the highest attack, but I've not unlocked the third magnum.
Finished the game last night and OMFG I feel so stupid, the thing at the boat witht he aimy thing..... yeah I was using that for all of the boss sections -_-
Also as stuuuuuuuupid as this sounds WOOOT I found out how to move equips to the inventory rather than selling tehn LMAO.
Started second run inf ammo on pistol for me and MP5 for sheva, its just a shame that once you've fully upgraded a wep if you want another ou have to manually upgrade another.
Also has anyone tried the 30k pistol that looks like the upgraded handgun from RE2? Any good?
Thats anotehr thing I loved the little changes in the weps in RE2, in this when you upgrade they still look exactly the same
Dissappointed in both the amount of puzzles and the time it took to finish, as well as the godawful "QUICK PRESS THIS FAST OH NOES YOUR DEAD" sections theyve decided to crowbar in like every other game under the sun recently.
