New exhaust....done....:D - V6 noise porn inhere!

I found with my car removing the cat had more effect on performance than changing to a 4-2-1 manifold & full stainless system put together. I'd also like to ask the OP if there's a performance filter fitted as the incar shots sound like there's plenty of induction roar.
When I put my car for an MOT i have the CAT in the boot, and tell them to fit the cat back on for the test and change it back again after. They always say they do it but they never do it, and never charge me extra labour either. Just sent away for my MOT Testers test though, so i'll soon be MOT'ing my own car, hopefully.

Even a sports cat is gonna throw out the air/fuel mixture. The standard map is obviously based on the standard exhaust system.

Std maps generally have closed loop lambda control with long term fuel trims that will also apply to wide open throttle so its not really a huge concern.

It definately needs a remap, the smell coming from the back of it due to the engine being too lean is somewhat...suspicious :p

You mean rich, J ;)

Too much fuel = rich
Too little fuel = lean

:)

Stand behind mine, it'll make your eyes water :D

Rich...Lean....eithers a good enough excuse to warrant a remap! :p

haha awesome stuff, we'll smoke out the RR at this rate

I haven't looked around yet really...but thats going to the best thing...live mapping it at an MG specialist :)

How about.... no :p

Tbh, I don't know about the maps... they may well be very good. I wouldn't EVER go there for an engine conversion though.

I've nicknamed them 'really **** motors' :D

lol being serious, he live maps them, and I've spoken to a few people, very pleased with the results.

We'll see, hopefully I can find somewhere closer to home :)
