Did you just win the lottery or something? Thats one hell of a step up
Being a contractor I put aside money each week for the end of year tax, the first year I started contracting I put aside too much each week and had a nice surplus when the tax bill came in :p
The rest is savings since the S2K accident and the sale of the ST220 :)
I work nights and a lot of hours per week i.e. 60+ so no time to spend really :(

i neeeed a ride in that neil
No problem mate :)

You saved up £30k in a year

Got any jobs going

What are you going to use for your daily commute? Be a shame to ruin something as lovely as that mint Exige by taking away its specialness using it for the daily grind. Most people who use cars like Elise/VX/Exige as an everyday car find it gets too much and robs the car of its magic.

Going to keep the ST for commuting?

The t'st has been sold.

Real shame. I give him 6 months before he wants out of it in that case :( The only people I've known thoroughly enjoy long term ownership of cars like these are those who are able to keep them garaged and only bring them out to play :(

I work in aircraft maintenance.
In essence it was two and a half years really I've been saving.

The ST has been sold, to my brother so this will be a commuter.

Congrats, 2.5 years of saving has got to pay off at some point :) I remember about a year ago you mentioned about getting one. You wont see much depreciation on that either, nice work!
