Fear of clubs' bouncer rejection

Don't attract unwanted attention in the queue, dress similarly to the clubs regular crowd, have your ID handy and don't be drunk. If knocked back, be polite and accept it as this will have a bearing on the next time you try to enter. It may just be that the club is almost full and entry is being restricted to the regulars

Do not think that arguing the point, swearing and shouting at the bouncer will help to change his mind.

I'm just wondering are you a bouncer yourself? For example, would you sooner someone does that, rather then me just risk walking in and getting refused/ Just wondering if they would have forgotten and I am just reminding them dsaying "Last time I came you chucked me out." Wouldnt have thought that would go down to well.
 
Not sure if Next does overclocked shoes but I'll add that to my list. Feels a bit odd to wear black shoes with Jeans, would dig up my old school shoes but I might give this a go.
 
I used to be scared of bouncers because I'm in a wheelchair, but now I just go straight to the front of the queue and get let in with no fuss. :p

Ya gotta have some perks being in a wheelchair right? :D

I used to work the doors, there were people who I know i had thrown out who a few weeks later came back and asked the question before joining the queue.
Some were always going to be an outright 'no' but some would get a 'come back next week' reply.

Anyone i saw just entering the queue would just be told to not bother.

so wear brown shoes or shoes that go with the style and colour of jeans you are wearing.

black shoes and blue jeans rarely go!
 
I've worked seveal doors in Glasgow - The Garage, Cube, Cathouse, Underworld - and not once have I resorted to petty games in order to deny entry. Wear what you like as long as its similar to the other punters, the only time I ever issued knockbacks was when I was alerted by my internal ned/chav radar. Sorry pal, no tracksuits.

tbh, i wouldnt let you anywhere near a club. If you are as geeky in real life as you are being in this thread then you possibly shouldn't be let out in public :p

I got out in cities quite a lot and most men including myself wear blue jeans with shoes.

Just get some decent blue jeans and they will look fine. Not your standard 501 workmans or matalans finest

Slightly going off topic - Are all Gstar jeans really different and there is no pair alike? My 'S.C Radar low loose' look different from others on the net
 
I'm no jean expert, but why are jeans getting really tight at the knees? Who's ******* idea was that? Mine are like those linked above without the lighter stripes.
EDIT: Without the £90 price tag :eek: Mine are £55 from Cult.

This thread should be retitled: "Fear of not wearing black shirt" ;)

You got denied because of your shirt. So if you don't wear the shirt, you won't be denied, yes?

And it took until reply #76 to reach this conclusion how? (Why was a thread even needed!)

I think i had a pair of elwoods somewhere that i have had for years. Got them about 6 years ago, i remember my mate saying 'what the hell are gstars' as no one had really heard of them. ha ha

I think he's robbed them because i have no idea where they are now :(

Theres always exceptions to the rules but night club girls are just ewww. Better standard of girl in a south african aids clinic
