To be a DM you need to break up play and hang around in front of the defence, snuffing out AMCs.

I haven't seen Alonso doing much breaking up of play.
 
The Times are reporting that ourselves, City and 3 other unknown clubs have agreed to pay the asking price for Tevez (iinm Gill confirmed it as £25.5m). Wouldn't be a suprise if we are after him but im not too sure about spending that much on him.

that's our option. could be the asking price as well but not necessarily.

Ah you're telling me, I kept thinking that everytime I saw Barca play this year.

He'd fit in perfectly at Arsenal, plus he's the advantage that his own brother's here, should make the external factors involved much easier for him.

Edit - apparently the other brother (yeap, there's 3! :eek:) isn't a bad talent either. Though it appears his careers gone a bit funny. I think he's playing in the Middle East right now.

The thing that impresses me most is that he's very strong and big in stature yet he's still really solid on the ball and is very good technically, it's pretty rare to find a player is so excellent defensively and still has great technical ability

There is a very small chance that Anderson will leave this summer right? I've made a £5 bet on him still being at OT at the end of the transfer window with my mate and I'm not usually a betting man!
