the police system in this country is it tatters. there was a thread a while back discussing the prison system and police.

I have got a female friend whos BF was put in prison for protecting her (he was forced into it mind you). He got ten years inside, the GF stayed with him for a year, and left him for some other guy.

I do agree and see where sandman is coming from, people like doesnt respect the law, they only respect people who are more "alpha" than them. The law obviously didnt do much to the rapist if he is out making threats again.

If the police deals with it, the rapist will be out in full swing again in a few months, permantley damage him then he will remember why he got the scars and will think twice about raping someone again.

WHO THE HELL wrote that article? Im presuming someone found out their daughter or what ever had been raped by this twisted **** after 7 years of her being screwed up over it. Damn right he desierved to be crippled for life. How the hell can they claim the people who did it have no place in society. That was what real justice is for a crime like that. Not a year in a cell.

I think kneecappin a guy so he can never walk again, hopefuly causing some other physical problems and hopefully causing him extream agony and probably a far shortened life. Is a much better sentence.

How is kneecapping him going to undo what he did? My daughter would feel the same regardless. The difference would be that I wouldn't be stooping to the level of thugs and scum in order to commit a further sickening act of violence against someone whom the courts have already punished. Further to which, I could be jailed for a long time and how would THAT help my daughter?

Yes true you have very valid points. What would you do then? Get him put in prison for 3/4 years? Is the sentence even that big?

As for pepper/cs/etc spray, its useless until long after the fact. I had my face held in to 3 canisters from 1" away, and was in no real pain until 30 mins afterwards when I started sweating.

Really? I've seen CS spray used on TV cop shows against violent nutters and it takes effect instantly.
