xavi is 29, replacement!
+1, fabregas is a perfect protege for xavi and would be groomed for 2 or so years time when xavi will be slowing down. {ersonally if i was Fabregas i wouldn't go to Barca, as itd mean being 2nd string player behind Xavi and Iniesta when Fabregas is easily good enough for any first team. He will eventually end up at Barca its just a matter of when Xavi is starting to slow.
Fabregas is a playmaker and he's able to play both CM and DM - Wenger has proven this.
Looking at it objectively, Fabregas would be an absolutely brilliant asset to Barcelona. I have no doubt he would fit in there perfectly. However, as an Arsenal fan, I cannot bare to see him go - he's too central to our team at the moment. I would love to see Fabregas mature to legendary stature much like Henry did, wearing Arsenal colours.
Liverpool's players have told manager Rafael Benitez that he should bring Newcastle striker Michael Owen back to Anfield.

Been said for a while, atleast last season as well that some of the players want him but Benitez won't buy him as he doesn't fit into the style of play or the kind of player he wants so I very highly doubt he'd be brought back to Anfield
Pretty sure Benitez wouldn't be interested in Owen, for several reasons. He doesn't fit the style of play, he's constantly injured, would want stupid wages, we could get someone better and he decided to leave despite Benitez having 'crunch' talks to get him to stay, when first arriving.
Torres has started more games but they've played the same amount including substitute appearances. He's played more league games than Torres in the last two years.![]()
Ancelotti has left Milan. Off to Chelsea then...?

What's this I hear about City chasing Eto'o?
I'm guessing the amount of goals won't be as similar.![]()
Supposedly Man City are chasing, Eto'o, Henry, Kaka, Tevez and just about anyone else that you can throw a chequebook at.
Frankly, I doubt they will get any of them at all. None of those names are going to want to come to a club which isnt in Europe.
Without a doubt, Ballack extended his contract earlier today and as good as said that Ancelotti is going to be our new manager but the deal isn't finalised just yet, this pretty much confirms it and I'm surprised Milan let him go for nothing considering he had a year left.
He's got a good pedigree & I didn't realise he was only 49, hopefully he understands more about the PL than our last full time appointment![]()
