When driving normally you find yourself having to wait for boost to build if you need to speed up or go up a hill because you tend not to be in the right gear. If you are in the correct gear, though, the lag isn't very noticeable at all.

Surely it's got to be less annoying than the equivalent NA though? If you aren't in the right gear then there just isn't anywhere near as much power. I'm just asking as it's probabaly going to be the upgrade route for me in a year or so as I drive an NA MR2. I was chatting to another owner and he said that his partners tubby in 5th from 70 left him behind when he had dropped down to 3rd in his NA. Even with lag I would think it beats an NA![]()
