It's going to be great watching Real Madrid next season....
Definitely going to meet Man Utd in the champions league now aren't they? Wonder what reception Ronaldo will get
Ronaldo has gone Purely for the money, Real Madrid is a step down as he will soon find out, he is a great player but his attitude stinks, Man United will replace him and be stronger without him as im sure Sir Alex is already in negotiations for his replacement
Brilliant
As far as signings go, i'd really rather we didn't get Ribery, regardless of cost. From what i've seen of him, he's never really stood out, so for £50m, it's just ridiculous, I wouldn't even go for £20m.
He's an ugly ****er as well, so my opinion may be slightly based on that too.
If utd got real madrid in europe i think ronaldo would get a good reception at old trafford we will miss his goals not sure about his replacement though. Valencia i think and maybe a striker as well . Real have bought two of the best players in the world maybe their next purchase should be a defensive midfielder so they can actually get the ball, kaka and ronaldo never been the type of players to track back have they?
Pff:quotes on the BBC re: Ronaldo's transfer made me laugh![]()
I'm just saying from what i've seen of him. The times i've watched him may not have been particularly good games and so he didn't really shine. If he can deliver like he did in France (from what i've heard) rather than Germany (what i've seen) then i'll be more than happy for Utd to pay out for him, but based on what i've seen, he's just not worth it.Well if you dont want Ribery, even for £20m (not that he would ever be that cheap), we at Liverpool would most certainly have him !![]()

The news brought to an end a bitter three-year tug-of-war between the clubs, although it was greeted with an angry reaction by Michel Platini, the Uefa president. He described the fee as a “serious challenge to the idea of fair play” and vowed to establish new rules governing transfers in an effort to “clean up the system”.
At least Platini has had the grace to speak up at last.
"These excessive transfers are happening almost every day. It is very puzzling at a time when football faces some of its worst ever financial challenges.
"These transfers are a serious challenge to the idea of fairplay and the concept of financial balance in our competitions."
He's exactly right there, it's annoying when one teams owners are willing to go into huge debt to be the best, it isn't how it should be
