CPW online ordering system is a bit of a joke. You get one email when you order saying thanks for ordering then nothing. Rang up twice in the week to find out what the score was - got through tonight and the chap said they were sending out 3,500 phones today, i'll get a confirmation email and text and it'll be with me tomorrow.

Oh look - no email , no text... sigh.

I just preferred the styling over the standard version if I'm honest ;). I like what I've read about the Switcheasy cases, and they seem to get good write ups from people. Was very tempted by the CapsuleNeo but from reading reviews it can be very fiddly if you ever need to get it on/off.

Hadn't even seen that - didn't see any reference to it in my confirmation mail! Anyway . .check the output. Made me laugh :

luckily it DOES ref the citylink detail which I just checked and its en route to depot as of 21:00.. thanks for the link :D Not so much thanks to CPW for a shocking online ordering system!
 
luckily i fall into the camp that's never had a citylink issue - i have faith in the 'goods loaded onto a van' prompt .. but i'm sure theres time for this to all go horribly wrong and i'll be sat at the window waiting for that to happen tomorrow.

I'm also very lucky in that City Link have always been fairly good in my area. Even got to know the driver a few years ago as I was getting so many deliveries :o
 
I preordered from CPW on the understanding it would be delivered tomorrow.

No despatch noticications and the tracking link shows a status of processing.

City Link tracking shows no shipment existing for the number.

I guess I am out of luck and will be phoning CPW tomorrow to cancel.

The only emails I received seemed to be specifically tailored to those that had pre-ordered and were being told that their orders were on hold until release. Other then the order confirmation I also received my dispatch confirmation today. Check the customer order tracking area on mobiles.co.uk.

Once my order had been sent to the warehouse for picking it was marked as dispatched (weirdly it also says "pending" as the description!) so may be one way of keeping track of your order?
 
i ordered mine on sunday over the phone with cpw. got my order tracking with citylink. mines scheduled for delivery 19/06/09. cant wait!

philjohn - when I checked at 9pm lst night all live iPhone orders that we could despatch, we had despatched. There were a few in various states of "payment problem" or "need further details" etc.

Use our (basic) order tracking function on the site, it should tell you if it's been despatched or not, but in any event you should have had an email to tell you what's going on?

Everyone else - enjoy your new phones :)

I'm 10m into my contract so I'm sitting this one out.. for now. No Apple freebies :(
