Its only available for iPhone contract only IIRC - you arent missing much if you dont get it...

Just got back from the Apple Store Manchester Arndale after queueing just before 8am.

Staff were nice, free Starbucks etc lol

I went for the PAYG 16GB White, have 14 days to return it for a black, what do you guys think?

Well the compression would probably nullify any gains in reduction in size tbh!

I thought that White looked better before I heard that it was considered Chavy... Now I think I'll just go with a black one

It does look really cool though, we had a bit of a vote with iStaff, white one won 5-3. I may return it though after some feedback.

White one here - all my friends have black ones, and I've always liked the iPod white (and it's an iPod at the end of the day).

FWIW the black/white mix is something like 95% black. If you have a white 32Gb then you're part of a 3% group

I really really REALLY want this phone but i'm stuck in a Orange contract for another 12 months =/

The only good thing about that is that the iPhone 3GS will be cheaper this time next year.
