I think I am getting as Obsessive as Manuel. How many times has he said he cannot say too much.

That man really boils my ****

Nasri has been rushed to hospital crying out in pain and Vela got injured whilst on international duty for Mexico, that's why he hasn't been in training/pre-season games.

As far as I'm aware Vela is fine. he did get injured and they feared a broken leg at first, but he was fine, and has played since.

My bad, just read myself that he's back in training etc. I thought he'd been injured badly, seems it was just feared to be bad and the reports I read were obviously exaggerated :p

That's a massive blow for Arsenal.

I doubt Wenger will still think his team is strong enough without him so I'd bet you'll see him signing your DM now.

Hmm, seen the Nasri thing, its just a thing in a french paper, he's been taken to hospital by two members of staff and he was crying in pain but no news of what was injured.

As for Vela having a long term injury, still not seen anything about that myself.

But Nasri, as much as I like him, I'm not really seeing a spot in the first team for him myself so not a huge problem . I personally don't see him as fast enough for the wing and all his truly great games came when he was central just behind the striker, in that run of wins after the 4 draws, when Ade was out injured. Vela, well assuming Wenger rotates as poorly as last year, he'd barely get a game anyway.

As for Liverpool, you think their season isn't over if Gerrard is in jail, because of Macherano and Alonso, neither of which are or can be free scoring. They don't have a second striker and they don't have another playmaker in Gerrards mould, at all. If they put Voronin or someone upfront with Torres, then whose doing all the running and setting them up, certainly not Macherano, and probably not Alonso.

Its just also occured to me why Benitez has been delaying the Alonso decision for so long, a bad outcome in this trial and Alonso doesn't go, a good one and he's off.

"I am sure they will have money and they will buy some players," said the Liverpool boss when asked about United.

he was asked about Man Utd and he answered, whats wrong with what he said

The bit you quoted he was asked about the threat of Man City and he answered that he cannot speak for other teams.

maybe you are becoming obsessive :p;)

Kuyt? Benayoun could play 2nd ST?

Or clutching at straws, Babel?

Crikey the OcUK Scouse Mafia are out in numbers today :D

People see a story about Benitez and it's a case of: Quick, to the Internet!

Maybe as quick as Benitez when asked about Utd. He never needs a 2nd invitation does he ;)

I know, the little people in the dark shadows who watch you all the time told me to say it to you ;)

Bugger, was hoping we'd see an Arshavin on the left / Nasri on the right midfield :(.

EDIT

Will Rosicky be back for the start of the season?

Isn't 2 to 3 months pretty quick for a broken leg?

If it's only 2 months then it's not a huge blow, he'll only be out for a month of the season.
