Arsenal's luck with injuries is just ridiculous. Ah well, at least with this Nasri injury there might be more chance of a new face coming in.
 
Yeah I thought Benitez didn't like talking about other teams, we all know Fergie has done it for years, no surprise there, but Benitez 'I'm only here to talk about my team...I don't want to discuss other teams....but if you talk about Man Utd I'll have my say....blah....yeah...blah blah blah....money....blah...more money...blah...blah....

Ferguson really has rattled him hasn't he. Or disturbed him as he put it in January. :D ;)

He was asked a question he answered. The drunk did not get to him in January let alone you lot thinking its the case 7 months on.

His answer still seems highly speculative given what Fergie's said previously (purchase of Obertan aside as he said that was because other Premiership clubs, presumably Wenger, were sniffing around him), but on the other hand speculation seems to be the Scot's strong hand given his comments about Wenger being unable to part with the £25 million transfer income due to financial constraints, saying he had 'evidence' to back it up.

Oh, and didn't get to him back in January? Come on mate. :p
 
Mate its not the words that are said necessarily, its how they are delivered and the effect they have afterwards. Isnt january when we were on our massive streak without letting in a goal.

Maybe it was a delayed effect ;)
 
The CCTV of Gerrard to me shows him being hit first and reacting to the blow. seems perfectly reasonable. Can't see him doing time for this with his record.
 
In other international news, Carlos Vela’s Mexico will play Costa Rica in the Semi-finals of the Gold Cup after they beat Haiti 4-0 in the quarters. Vela didn’t play in that game and hasn’t taken part since the opening 10 minutes of the tournament. However, despite rumours that he was injured for the rest of pre-season, he was pencilled in as fit enough to play in the encounter against Haiti.
