Yeah that first town took bloody ages! And there seemed to be a constant stream of armour, coupled with Hammers Stinger missiles flying through the air at nowhere in particular! hehe!

It would have been locked, this helps reduce lag caused by randoms constantly connecting/disconnecting amogst other things. Only way to get it unlocked is join Vent and ask for it to be unlocked. If you don't have a mic you're stuck unfortunatly unless you can join early on when it is unlocked.

Guys a player call Nath kicked me off after TKing me and said i was gonna get a ban now this guys is moving all outtta base and just messing arround we need more admins plz i cant get back in game

why dont people get it, if your not on vent, then you may get kicked or be unable to get on the server. Nath should not have banned you without a warning(altho that depends on what you did, if anything)

Also using the same name as your forum name and having [OcUK] before your name should help get you out of sticky situations

Bear in mind its the middle of the day and the majority of the senior types are at work.. moderation is best between 6-10pm Sunday - Thursday and at weekend nights.

Yup understand the only thing that realy anoyed me was he knew how to vote kick and i didnt i always leave it to lee and he said i would be banned for good

everytime i try to get in it says "you where kicked off the game"
anyway lee i leave it in your hands m8 he was blowing the base up with the harrier and just dicking around then he tk me .

Hi guys

Just had ARMA 2 delivered yesterday. I've played the games since the original OFP, but 99% of the time it has been single player. I fancy delving into the multiplayer side though.

Do you guys play as a proper war scenario, i.e. you have set guys as pilots flying transport choppers, pilots who will come in if you call in an air strike etc? AT teams, guys on overwatch etc and using proper comms?

We are trying to do something like that, but it depends on who is on the server at the time.
Have a look over at our forum and join Ventrillo (you don't need to speak but listening helps) and you will see we are playing properly. If you come onto the server between 7 and 11pm, there should be some OcUK members to help you with probems and have a fun game.

The regulars definitely. The fly boys will ask for laser targets and work with the troops on the ground. The flying is the most regulated aspect on the server.

The infantry however is a bit more mixed. Basically at the moment we dont limit the ground weapons. So you can pick to be a medic, a DMR and a SMAW and effectively be Rambo. But I think we are looking to be a bit stricter on infantry soon.
