Battlefield 1943

Yeah some people seem to have no idea with this game some time. Was defending a point when a guy in a tank turned up, shot him once in the rear with a rifle nade he got spooked jumped out of the tank and ran around like a drunken clown who had been crossbred with a chicken and got his head cut off. Me confused by this jumped in his tank to find it still had about 90% health....

Quite surprised how well im doing on this game, shooting wise, as im usually pretty bad at aiming accuratly with sticks (especially sniping, Im looking at you COD4), got a bit bored yesterday and decided to go for outrageous shots and surprisingly got a few headshots on landcraft drivers who were speeding about. Though above all i <3 the rifle nades getting crazy arching shots on people driving/running about makes me smile.

458 in 10 hours. By loads of kills, I mean if you put a tiny amount of effort in it's very easy to get a 6:1 or better KD ratio without being a camper, rather than sheer quantity ignoring deaths.

Has anyone played this on both 360 and PS3? With the connection to EA Online seeming to hold all the stats, I wonder if it's universal system for both versions, i.e. if you played on 360 and then switched to PS3 would all your stats be accessible.
 
Doesnt look like it, in the stats page it has got your name then 360 or PS3 under it, also theres a change soldier link, which I guess is there if youve got more than one PSN/Live account.

Depends on each individual game. I don't think there is an option to mute in Battlefield 1943. Comms integration is pants across the board.

I would think so. I was a big fan of BF1942 and apart from the lack of a mouse/keyboard it has all the charm and fun with the added bonus of being able to destroy pretty much everything. It would appear that people are also starting to work together to take flags which is nice. Sadly I was stuck on the opposing team so got totally dominated :rolleyes:
