Confusing thread is confusing.
For tax reasons my pay will be given in dividends as well as a sallary so after a certain amount of time I get lump sums... that's all I can really say without being too bait. And at the moment I'm buying a flat, so I'll be poor-ish until after the next few dividends, by then I will be 25 as well which will decrease the insurance for a bonus, and I will have my own flat. Good enough for you?
I'm not really moaning I just don't see the need in spending more than I need to, and the difference between a 325 and 330 is what less than a second? They both have enough power for me to have some fun with until I get my next car. And the wheels, well I just fell in love with them and thought they would make the car stand out and look pretty decent.
Painting it pink with a 9" roller will make it stand out, does not mean it should be done

I enjoy unsettling my cars too, but its just not practical nor communicative enough to hold a decent slide.
Yeah you can't go on like the Japs, but you can control it which is the fun part. My friend has an E36 325 which is pumping out around 230 bhp and that is very good fun!
It sounds like my advice about the sort of people you should avoid buying a BMW from is irrelevent as you seem to fit that bill

Touché... but why would I buy this car for enjoyment and then not enjoy it? I may sound like a d*** head chav just out to rag around a car but trust me I'm not, I enjoy the way I drive as I get a hell of a lot of pleasure from it which is why I do look after cars and I do pay for respectable maintenance.
100,000 miles is not "high". They are also not the kind of car that is pootling round town doing 7,000 miles a year. I'd be more weary of a low milage example in all honesty.
