Derren Brown - outdone himself this time?

I shall be watching, both shows. I think his shows are awesome, such a showman :)

I think it'll be similar to what Azagoth posted.

Honestly, i'm not bashing him and i'm sorry if i don't hold him in as higher regard as yourself but what interest would you have, knowing it's going to be some delay/recording trick?

There is not one person in this thread that is going to watch it because they think he is actually predicting the future lol

I'm looking forward to the "Control The Nation" show :D I wonder if it can make people unable to get up off their seat :D
 
Its says on hos website, that there's something on tonight but I can't see it listed. I take it's a mistake?

It would be funny if he did predict it. The whole thing would be ruined and he would be spat at in the street by hard at their luck for stopping their only probably way of a fortune(or a bit of fun on the side).
 
Oh God.. I love Derren soooo much. I went to see him live a couple of months ago and as soon as he walked on my face was like ":eek:" until he walked off stage at the end. :D

I can't wait for The Events. :cool: And the Lotto results, I CAN'T WAIT!!1 :D

In case you're interested, I've seen the Enigma show and it was FANTASTIC. :D I can't disclose why it's called 'ENIGMA' as Derren asked us not to. ;) But holy moly, it's worth a watch!

I didn't get picked to do any of the individual spectacles though unfortunately. As such, I still can't believe that he's genuine in what he does. I know that he has never for one second claimed he's supernatural, but all the same, until I've experienced some of his suggestion first hand I'm going to remain hugely skeptical. Believing in it would only be buying into a belief system (such as Christianity, Spiritualism, alternative medicine, etc) which I have a lot of criticism against. I'm fairly well read on the areas of suggestion, body language and hypnosis but not on a level even worth mentioning in the same sentence as Derren's. All the same, he's a world class entertainer and I literally CANNOT wait for the EVENTS to get here!!1 :D

By the way, if anyone's interested, Derren charges between £15,000 and £45,000 for performances. £15,000 is the lowest amount of money he'll go out for. :p

Remember the Horse Racing one? He had toooons of people all who chose different horses. If they had a losing horse, they were dropped until only 6 were left on the final race with 6 runners. They used the footage from the woman who won and then showed how it was done.


I'd expect a similar level of trickery with this.
