Maybe he'll watch it on terrestrial TV and hope everyone else watches it on digital, as we all know there's a second or so lag on digital from terrestrial, and do it that way.
Makes me think of something that happened in Australia in the 20's, or some time round then (there was a film made about it), when some smart alec's were conning bookies on horse racing. they'd do it like this....
They'd go to bookies in towns/cities hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away from the race track, they'd have a mate at the track who'd ring them the race results, and then before the bookies got the results in via telegraph, they'd put bets on the winning horse. Damn clever.
