Good Luck!

Huh??!! What has this shenanigans got to do with NFS:Shift and Laguna Seca?... The door is that way my friend.

How random, ahh well he loves his bingo none the less. Back to the game, I am stuck on a 1.26 lap time to be honest, lapping 1.26-1.27 lap on lap and then fine tuning the car a bit at a time.

Half the times I will lose several hundredths and other times gain them, on a perfect lap I think could see a 1.24 or 1.25 but as yet that perfect lap remains elusive.

Tonight I am going to down tune the car a little and see if I can carry more speed through the corners, I could possibly knock half a second off down the home straight also by modifying the gearing slightly.

Quick question, what speeds are people hitting down the home straight into the first corner?

Hmmm my fastest time I was hitting 157 along that back straight before breaking and carrying 55-60 around the corner, I feel that some down tuning, hitting the corner at 140 (ish) might help me carry more speed through the first corner into the second bend.

I don’t know, I am getting to the point of shaving of a few tenths here and there, with this 360 pad I don’t feel I can go much faster at this point.

I have a feeling that the optimum down there is probably a tad slower than 150mph just gotta find the perfect mix of down force, acceleration/speed and controllability for the corners.

How does it break and handle into the corner? I imagine from my 157mph run that it’s a handful under breaking?

Even with nos up the straight mine is topping out <160mph think I could make up half a second if I can get 170 out of that straight. Might give it a go after the footy tonight.

It isnt really about the top speed though, it is more how quickly you get there that matters, so i found that changing the gearing so it topped out at around 150 made me lap quicker

Indeed, its all about getting the balance right, top out to early and your loosing time, accelerate to slowly and the same goes. I want to get the car to accelerate quickly and be topping out the second I want to break.

Using the back straight as a marker means I should be getting just below maximum speed coming into turn 5 as well. Its possible I could shave a second (7/10ths) off and get into the 1.25 but 1.24 I feel is out of reach for me.

Faster still but still rubbish lol although only did a few laps and was late

Any idea how to race at laguna seca straight away with this car. In time attack mode i have to play 2 other races first to get to laguna seca race which is pain in the backside.
