Hi All, i'm the owner of the Lupo. Thought i'd join the party, i appreciate that i'm a little late but no bother.
First of all apologies to the people that haven't taken to the Lupo and the Yaris. I thought that they were subtle and not over the top but like all things you're opinion counts.
I have though long and hard while i have been waiting to log on and came up with the conclusion that you either hate modified cars or you dont like the cars in question. But as before no bother, i'm not going to lose sleep over it, some like them some dont. Its a matter of taste and preference. I mean yes we could buy faster cars and go fast etc, etc. But i bought the Lupo because of their character, the way they drive, their rarity and the red seat belts.
I could modify to make it faster, but what would be the point? As i said above if i wanted a faster car i would have bought one, same if i wanted fuel economy i'd of bought a diesel, or even a motorway cruiser, you get the idea.
Personally, i dont think they are that bad, i mean they could be worse, but i'm bound to say that, after all i drive the Lupo.
The_Judge, i'm not sure if you care calling the question cars crap but if you are i though i'd inform you on a few things about the Lupo GTi, i'd mention something about the Yaris TS but i dont know much about them.
So here is some information about the "Crappy" Lupo GTi.
Less that 1000 were shipped into the UK and with only under 700 still registered on the UK roads they are quite rare, oh and by your logic - Crap.
They had parts that were, at the time only on executive cars for example lightweight aluminium panels and Xenon lights just like BMWs and Mercs, and the later models have a 6 speed gearbox.
I hope this has made you a little more clued up about the Lupo GTis and now you can think that they are crap but with a little bit of class and rarity.
Oh and craig_kennedy83, my heart bleeds.
Anyway i have rambled on a bit now, and i'm off to bed.
Oh and saying that you raced on the motorway on a public forum is a bit silly really.
Night night.
Vinny

I just dont see the point in spending time/money modding crap cars, when you could put that money towards something better.
