What would you do in this situation

You have said how dangerous it is and that your life was in danger, but you still carried on until he got home. You strike me as either been seriously lazy and/or just contradicting what you have said.

Very very weird actions and

Don't you have anything else better to do

When I phoned the council the guy on the other end of the phone told me it is a taxi drivers responsabilty to get passangers SAFELY from A to B. By him using his mobile phone which nearly caused him to crash not once but twice he wasn't doing his job. I work in a resterant bar and I served someone who was either drunk or underage I would not only loose my job I would face a huge fine. I reapitdly asked him to stop using his mobile and he refused which is why I put in a complaint. If he looses his job it's his own fault not mine

then you should have asked him to pull over and let you out.

Not let him drive you home and then say you're not going to pay.

If your excuse is "he endangered my life" then why in gods name did you stay in the cab al the way home rather than getting out before?

The OP said he finds it hard to concentrate when being spoken to by his instructor, so if he had said he finds it hard to concentrate when someone speaks to him and hes been driving for years i would just assume he is a dire driver and shouldn't be on the road :D

vintage-x you seem to have a knack for sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. From reading some of your previous threads where you insult a short man and wonder why he wants to stab you, to getting brain damage from being beaten up (granted you didn't explain why) Now you will probably receive another bashing from this cabby for getting him sacked. You really need to mind your own buisness and leave people to themselves if they are not harming you.

Hmm don't you think that's a very important part you left out of your original post and any posts up until this point

When I drove the other day some old bint pulled out infront of me on a roundabout, causing a close call. So I nearly crashed but I wasn't on my phone.

If you had your license and a fair amount of experience behind you I'd be saying right now 'ok so he nearly caused an accident due to his phone' - But you don't know the circumstances, the fact he was on his phone could have had nothing to do with the phone but your just blaming it because "OMG SOMEONE BREAK THE LAW!!!" - We don't live in an ideal world where everyone sticks to every single law going, bout time you realised that and got over it.

Ok guys tell you what next time you post somthing on here about some bad custormer experince I will tell u all to get a life yeah

You can do what you please. It's a public discussion forum ironically, what we are all doing is not breaking any rules :p

I bet your the sort of person to report someone who even looks at their taps funny when there is a hosepipe ban on.

It is wrong for people to use a mobile phone when driving for sure i hate to see it myself BUT you have taken things a little to far m8.

So not only does he know where you live he knows where you work as well.

Hahaha. I feel some serious Karma coming your way. Judging by what someone else said about you getting in fights or something, it seems pretty indicative of your character. TBH sucks to be you.

lets leave this vintage bloke alone he obviously missed a lot of school just look at his spelling

lol.

oh great not only am I an idiot for reporting someone for breaking the law/bad customer service now I'm an idiot because I can't spell properly :-/

i wouldnt worry, his puncuation is worse than your spelling :p

Take it easy dude lol. People as discussing what you have posted and the reason they think its not an issue or wasn’t as much of a problem. Personally I think you over reacted and I know you keep banging on about putting your life in danger etc but honestly your ok.... not dead so chill out a bit. Also if it was that much of an issue you should have simply asked him to pull over and get out, being close to home is no reason to carry on in the taxi of doom if he’s going to endanger your life as you say.

IF i was really that bothered i would have demanded he stopped the cab and got out.
Especially after the 1st near miss.

You seem like a complete freak tbh

go to the police not a PC hardware forum, if it bothers you so.
Expect to be hospitalised within a month though

maybe that's the issue. maybe people like to turn blind eye's because it happens so regularly that its 'not worth the hassle'. The only difference between somebody involved in an accident due to using a phone and somebody not while using a phone in the same situation is probably quite honestly down to luck. does that make it right? is it ok because they didnt have an accident...this time?

i would turn a blind eye to other drives on the phone, yes. but the driver of a car im in - i dont tolerate it. i shouldnt have to and i wont. to hell with everybody else, but my own safety is paramount.
