I paid £20 for L4D1 and £20 for L4D2, thats £40, which is still cheaper than one game on a console or the yearly rehash of a Call of Duty game or The Sims.

L4d2 seems good to me, what did you guys expect? No Zombies set in WW2?
 
It is basically the same game - but then, I paid £20 odd for that, and this is easily as large and the same price. Can't see any reason to complain.
 
I really don't get the L4D2 bashing, when Activision did a similar thing with CoD:MW2 only they removed dedicated servers :confused:

L4D2 is as much a new game as CoD:MW2 except cheaper and with better support for online play.
 
The blood on screen is too much, aiming isn't as accurate especially when straffing forward/back with shotgun?

Does seem to run just fractionally slower than what I would expect, smoothed graphics are nice but its no crysis.

Love melee! :D
 
the demo failed for me, but it did give me an insight to the graphics and stuff, not sure what to think I know deep down its still the old L4D we came to love. but its just I don't know better done maybe?

It's the same formula but done better on almost every front.

I say that because of the exactly the same reason why this thread is made, L4D2, is L4D1 with a few mods...

What Valve should have done is instead of being greedy made a couple patches to add to L4D1 to end up with the same results at L4D2...

But i am not going to judge how they make their income because money is money at the end of the day...

You'd quickly realise it isn't if you played the game.
 
L4D2 is is like marmite, just like MW2 both are good games but some people will not like it, they are entitled to criticise the good/bad points of the game as the next person
