Who cares what happened?
Who cares what happened?
You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, do you? M-Theory is as "hypothetical" as Newton's theory of mavity, of Maxwell's electromagnetism. They are all theoretical models for phenomena that occur in the world around us.In other words, completely hypothetical. It amazes me the completely bonkers ideas that keep coming up, M Theory being the latest, when there are much more realistic explanations.
Black Holes swallow matter.
Bigger Black Holes swallow smaller Black Holes.
The big Black Holes are swallowed by the Super Massive Black Holes.
Etc....
Reaches critical point and bang.
My very basic 2 cents.![]()
Sounds pretty plausible, and widely agreed.>BANG<
After reading this thread, I think I understand why people believe it god....
Mainly because it doesn't give you a bloody headache.
Faith is to humans what sand is to ostriches.
And I take it you are more qualified to comment? Honestly, lets not have a geek off. I'm allowed my own theory and am free to express it. Its not as though I'm sending it in to a scientific journal for publishing. What amazes me, is how uninformed individuals feel qualified to comment on the worth of the most advanced scientific theories ever developed by man, whilst armed with nothing more than Wikipedia and bucket load of ignorance.
This reminds me of an interesting thought i had a while ago, if you take the age of the earth and sun which is about 4.5 billion years old versus the age of the universe which is about 13.5 billion years old, it appears we have come into existence right around the beginning of the universes life which is pretty incredible when you think about it, we could have evolved near the middle or end but here we are at the beginning, presuming the universe has billions to trillions of years of life left in it (energy, stars forming etc), it will probably go on for such a long time after its stopped being liveable however, i believe thats the current view, but it probably has some big surprises in store like galaxy's giving birth to new galaxy's and regeneration through currently unknown processes.
If it wasn't convenient, we probably wouldn't be here.I thought about this too, it seems too convenient to be around near the beginning of the universe...
