yes i know itis the wrong way really for me anyways but thats a small issue for me and tyhere isnt a way of reversing it i was looking at it but i got turned around by the quality of everything elose to do with this case soon might put some water cooling in it and see if i can get hold of a new gpu

What's the biggest graphics card that can fit in this case? If crossfire 5970 fit then I know I could get any card in this case.
i think youd just manage it, would be very very tight!
my 8800ultras are 27cm i think, and the 5970s are 30cm? so should just fit
Fractal's website suggests that the maximum length of graphics card that the R2 will take is around 290mm. According to TechReport's review of the 5970, it's 309mm long, so I don't know if you'd get away with it.

weve been informed on previous posts that the max it can take it a 5870 not very many cases can take a 5970

well i have my spec in mine and its fine i imagine a pre meg should fit thoughout any issues really i amagine someones got one mihgt have to ask in overclocking cooling section or look on fractals website where they have more info on it all tbh

i dont mind doing a bit of modding pewrsonally to make somethign fit if i think it is worth it but i dont think those cards are worth the money atm

Can someone who has this case tell me if the fan at the front is 120mm or 140mm? I think I'll be buying one of these cases when I have the money and want to buy another identical fan for the front.

its 120s at the front and rear exhaust and 140s in the top and the bottom

Thanks for the info, what colour would you recommend getting it in? I was thinking Titanium Grey but I can't make much of a judgement from the pictures on OcUK.

I wanted the Titanium Grey but got the Black Pearl when it was the only colour in stock. But I'm not regretting it: it's a great case.

yeh they defo are a company to watch in the future there stuff looks nice and feels well built ive got black but titanium was my second choice but i went black as i have a black and red theme going on atm need to cut a window in my case though but at the same time like its sleek appeal

I am planning to build a new PC early in the new year and I am very impressed with the styling and reviews for the Define R2 cases. I would really like to purchase the Define R2 Black Pearl to house my new build!
However, there are a couple of issues that concern me! May I ask if it is possible to switch the front door so that it can open from left to right? Also, can you confirm if the case can accommodate an ATI 5970 graphics card?
If the answer is 'No' to both of my questions, can you confirm if Fractal Design have any plans to develop and release a case that will match my and many other enthusiast's practical needs?'
Will be interesting to see what type of response I get!

I believe the answer to both of those is no, although not entirely sure about switching the door, it is probably possible with enough modding
