Ps3 is faster than any pc...

i watched this earlier and when I heard him say that i just knew there would be a topic on here about it, that "anaylist" basically just makes stuff up as he goes.

ay i got the ps3 for media purposes and got nfs:shift for it, was great, then i got cod cos my mates bulied me into it xP but i gt it on the pc now and never play it on the ps3 no more cos the hosting is even worse on there i found. my mates keep telling me to trade nfs in for something better, would prefer to trade mw2 really as its pretty much on them who play it on there, i completed the story on ps3 only cos i started it on there xP

i loved that guys opinions, they truely made me giggle :rolleyes:

the bit about trading in pc chips on y2k and that they were much better than the ps1. and that was the end of the story..... all he had to do was look on wikipedia for the specs and there are laptops with better specs than the ps3 hehe xP muppet
 
Oh that guy is a known muppet I have also seen him dismissing forza 3 amongst other games saying how boring racing games are and pointless.
It's kinda the way a lot of americans seem to be about pc's from the ones I have observed on the internet.

Utterly ignorant and thinking a gaming pc costs $3000 + and a graphics card $1000, and are completely oblivious to the fact that the current gen consoles are actually pc's without keyboards and mice and differing hardware.

And yes they all think an xbox 360 and ps3 has better graphics and are more powerful than pc.

It's amazing someone that ignorant and out of touch with reality can have a job like that in this day and age, it's like having Michael Scott as a surgeon.

god dammit, that angered me too lol! what an idiot. Console fanbois will be loving this, now they will KNOW that their old xbox hooked up to a tv and running in HIGH DEF MAN will be far better than our pc's running in a much higher res than 1080 and being able to do things like AA etc. Grrrrr.

steering wheels , airmouse , fighterplane joysticks , xbox game pads.

some people have even built whole replicor jumbojet cockpits with working dials and stuff.

but yea i have to agree 100% if you game on a pc you can only use a keyboard :p

I think his point was that there isn't a generation of games that are only possible on the PC.

That's one game. there are plenty of console only (especially PS3) games that come out. Thats his point. there is no need for them to say "but look at this game that's just come out on the PC"
 
haha!!! what a stupid and utterly idiotic article! what a waste of space and bandwidth :S ive had both consoles and there dire!! running at 720p and most of the time a lot less!! 570p being upscaled most of the time, especially the ps3! then there is the lack of AA. pah. the ps3 has an ancient nvidea GPU. consoles can never dream of having graphics comparible to the pc. plus pc's have far better options for control. all they have is there horrible playstation gamepad. its so horrible! i have to say i like the xbox 360 gamepad though, ive got one for my pc xD

I think you've read between the lines on his statement when there was no lines to read :P He literally says nobody has a computer faster than a PS3, and even a "dual quad pentium 3.2" whatever that is, that apparantly costs 2 grand, would be worse than a PS3.

Let's not forget this is the same guy that said World of Warcraft would fail after 6 - 12 months, and that current generation consoles would be the last, or that PS3's would beat 360's for market share in this console gen, or that the PSN being free is a bad idea.
 
Arma 2 as it currently is on PC would be utterly impossible on a console in every way.

And every game that gets made multiplatform suffers for it...if every game was made only for PC, all those games would have better quality.

plenty of pc exclusives as well this year only like Arma 2, Empire total war, shattered horizon, anno 1404, cryostasis. its not our fault that they only care about overhyped garbage.
