It's snowing

Deadly ice everywhere round here. I only have to walk 10mins normally to work, but I thought about calling and working from home. Made it here eventually, but it's not like walking on the road is better than the pavement: worse possibly.

There's just smooth ice everywhere - once you start sliding you just have to 'go with it' and try not to fall over.
 
Been snowing here since 4pm yesterday and its slightly snowing now, here are some piccys

School has decided to close now, but still open for exams. We drove for 1.5hrs and it still would have taken another hour to get there but then getting back would have been even worse, so we turned round. 3hr trip in total :(
 
My school has given a deal of closing at 2.15...wow, we close an hour earlier. We have the whole school in, it's going to take the kids ages to get home, it's really unfair. The year 10 and 11's doing exams should be the only ones turning up.

Crap, I've got to go into town this afternoon for a haircut, hope the roads leading to the car park past the church are all right otherwise I'm shafted.
 
I have my statistics A level in 3 hours. Unfortunately it has been snowing since 6.30 here and shows no sign of stopping. They are not cancelling though, still have to get in. :(
 
Had power cut for a bit this morning first thing, luckily not for too long :)

Started snowing again. Put off my visits until tomorrow. Back to online Poker :cool:

Ages? Probably add 10 minutes onto some kids walk! Took me well over 3 hours to get to work today, that's ages!

Saw my neighbour out with a shovel and brush earlier, thinking he was going to clear the driveway to get the car out the garage, but he just cleared a small path which just leads to the snow :confused:
