Apple's January 27th Event

OS 4.0 hasn't been mentioned yet. The IPS display will most likely have an ollyphobic coat to reduce fingerprints.
 
Dude it's nothing like a Kindle competitor, just because it lets you read books on it doesn't make it so.

But the thing is, when Apple launched the iPhone, did everyone instantly think about the ramifications for mobile internet use? This does what Kindle does (barring the free 3G), plus all the normal netbook-esque functionality.

I think that if Apple have done this well (in conjunction with all the publishers and big newspapers) this could finally kick off e-reading properly.
