LOST..... How do you think it will end

Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be a huge anti-climax. That said, I'm still looking forward to it.

It will end with good defeating evil, the World will be saved, the love interests will all walk off into the sunset and everyone will live happily ever after.

Then there will be the occasional 'TV Special' with..'What are they doing now?', the 'Unseen Scenes', the 'Making of..' then some bright spark will bring out another tied-in series to try and squeeze some more cash out of it, then there will be a 'The Movie!', once every last drop of cash has been squeezed out, it will all be forgotten, but by then another 'Must see..' series will be airing, using the same old clichés and the same old tired, tired story-lines, but with new characters and new scenery, and so, the cycle continues....

Probably with the writers pointing and laughing at those who were stupid enough to stick it out this far.

Ive never watched lost. Anyone think it would be worth starting at number 1 and watching the hole lot? :o

Yeah its worth a watch. The first series was great, second was good too, then the writers realised they had no idea where the story was going so they came up with some ok filler for the next 2 seasons. Then came the time travel series... the less said about that the better. Generally its good though, the odd shootout, a few good looking maids and plenty of plot twists.

I got season 1 for christmas having never seen an episode and I'm now up to season 5. It's definitely a show that you should try to watch all at once rather than one episode a week, there aren't really any standalone episodes and there are a lot of little things to keep track of.

Jack will wake up in his suit in the middle of the jungle, just like the pilot episode, then you'll hear the noise and the Lost logo will appear. The end! :p

I love Lost, but it's going to be near impossible for them to end it by answering everything and keeping all the fans happy with how they did it.

So I'm expecting a rubbish last episode

On the contrary. I think the 'stupid' people were the ones who got all bunched up about not getting told all the answers, and hence got frustrated and gave up on it. I think the writers are exploring some quite cerebral concepts and historic themes that pass by a lot of people who are pre-occupied with what the smoke monster is or who Kate is going do the nasty with.

Everyone who insists on going on about lost 24/7 will get shot by an elite mob of ninjas and it'll get taken off the air due to the massive drop in viewings.
I can dream, it'd make electronics much less enraging :p

Quoted from my other post

I think the final scene will have everyone land safely at Los Angeles, and brushing past each other as they collect their luggage, not realising who they are with some slow motion and some epic music. It's going to be well sad.

Or as JJ said he had a specific image in mind, it could be Jacks eye waking up in the jungle.

No they're not. It was quite clear after the first few episodes (which I watched after the hype) that the writers were just writing for the sake of dragging the story out; it never was going anywhere.

The idiots are the ones who couldn't see that but had to cling on for closure.

Sorry, but you clearly fall into that camp.

I'm like it with a lot of TV shows though. I'm not going to get through 2 or 3 seasons only to quit. I'd rather just carry on watching until it ends.

That's fair enough, but until now you really didn't know for how long they were going to drag it out did you?

How did you manage to get to three seasons before spotting the writer's ploy?

I gave up after season 3. Got sick of it all and got sick of mates acting all big headed thinking they knew exactly what was going on.

Tbh I couldnt care less how it finishes. It should have finished on season 2 but no they drag it out and never answer questions fully. Im half expecting the last episode to have un-answered qustions which will start some kind of on-line petition for a film to tie it all up.

Obviously I could feel that they were dragging it on and on, but it's only an hour a week so meh. :p
