literally just bare like this?

Yeah it's awesome. I usually defrost it in the microwave. Then chop it up dead fine. Sprinkle salt, pepper, mixed herbs, garlic. Mash up and turn it over, repeat on othr side.

Flatten into blocks/circles/shapes/whatever (pritty much a pate by now) Bang it on the GFG for 4-5 minutes and job is done. Comes out looking like a burger as it sticks itself together. Amazing. So quick and easy.

If you want to you can then put it in a pitta or bread with lettuce and actually have it as a burger. A burger doesn't need onions and the likes. Round lump of mince = burger.

My god, what in the name of the holy ghost are you supposed to do with Mange Tout? No matter how much you boil them to death they are still so stringy I gag when I try to swallow them.

Worst green veg ever. Now I remember why I hated them much as a kid.

By decent quality fresh ones. Maybe you already have but I feel it makes a big difference.

Haha!

Level 3 starts in just over a week, can't wait!

Have you had a first session back since your holiday mate?

Yeah had a couple! Uber DOMS! :D

Due to start volume training soon!

what can i do with beef mince that doesnt have any carbs to it? other than eat it with veg and a tomato sauce?

Chopped tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, herbs and spices. Wilt some spinach into it, or get some broccoli, sweet corn etc... just mix it all up. Perfect!

Mange tout shouldn't be stringy! They're lovely! Ifg you don't like 'em try sugar snap peas instead. :)

Such a quick easy and tasty meal. Can't get enough of garlic at the moment! If you want to add some more fats you can plop a bit of olive oil into the mince pate before you cook it, though I'm not sure if this will just come straight back out.

If you want to really fill yourself out add 100grams of couscous. Fills a whole.

I can't seem to eat my food quick enough at the moment. I'd probaly choke if I ate any quicker, you'd think I hadn't eaten for weeks if you saw me eating in public!

Always cook my meats in olive oil in a frying pan.. when you squish the mince down it does seem to come out a bit so i didnt bother and just ate it as i was soo hungry haha

Thats such an aweome idea with the cous cous!! how do you come up with this stuff?

Am looking for something without carbs atm, but stil will be using that in future!

Cook with nut oils or avocado oils, they are better for cooking with. Olive oil burns when you cook with it in a frying pan. It's ideal for putting in AFTER for flavour and get some fats in.

Do they sell nut oils in the supermarkets?

Nope, only available from the international space station :(

Moving up the weights again, can crack out 6x3 on the DB curl with 16kg x 2. Squats up a bit more to 80kg although that did get hard near the end. On my penultimate rep all the weight shifted to the toes which ended up in me shouting **** quite loud as I thought I was about to become a leaning and falling tower of pisa on the upthrust. :D

Need to get some more exercises in there and alter the workout a bit as it is a bit samey now.

Today was Bi/Back/Legs:

(6x3)

- DB Curl 32kg
- DB Hammer curl 28kg (too easy now)
- BB shrugs 90kg
- Squats 80kg (My 4th squat session EVER)
- Close grip cable pulldown 60kg
- Seated row (cable) 65kg
- Leg Press 140kg + the sled
- Assisted pullups (25kg of help :p:D)

Not enough legs really as I gave up with the crap calf machine. Will get some raises in there and focus on legs more on Sunday.

Also, what else should I be trying to pack in there? I'm quite impressed by the amount of weight I have moved up especially on the cable machines, but I don't seem to put on a massive amount of size. Quite lanky with too much flab and I'm guessing at 20-22%bf, also 6ft 2 and 90kg.

Of course you can buy it from supermarkets. I just buy a selection of oils. Nut, avocado, olive oils are all high in mono and quite high in poly saturated fats. Perfect.

If you want an even bigger meal you can just add more mince or veg. Incredibly filling yet relatively low carb with couscous. You can swap the mince for chicken, mackerel, salmon which is more or less what my evening meals tend to be. Because it's around 5-600 calories with 250 grams of mince and 500 grams of mixed veg if you wan't to turn it into a 'cheat' meal you can just double the quantities and barely hit 1000calories and it's all good stuff.

Though fish does tend to be higher in calories than meat like beef and turkey but then it's also full of oils. On a bulk it's perfect, not so much on a cut when calories should be strict but by no means bad.

Erghhh off for a 1RM squat in 10 minutes, really not looking foward to this!
