How about using a decent definition?

A) There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and the rights of others occurring since the age of 15, as indicated by three (or more) of the following:

deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure;

reckless disregard for safety of self or others;
consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations;
lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
B) The individual is at least 18 years of age.
C) There is evidence of Conduct disorder with onset before age 15.
D) The occurrence of antisocial behavior is not exclusively during the course of schizophrenia or a manic episode.

Couldn't you equally apply a lot of those descriptions to politicians of any political leaning?

However if you're acknowledging that politicians of any party can behave in this way does that not rather cast doubt on your contention that right wingers are sociopaths and implying that "true" left wingers are not?

I guess so if you define left wingers as none sociopaths. But that would be just a label, how they actually behave is what counts.

afterall many people have said that Blairs governments were pretty close to the tories yet he would claim he is a left wing socialist. That doesn't mean he actually is by my definition.

In fact I am not convinced anyone in national politics or is a career driven person is not a sociopath to some degree they just believe they are right and therefore must do what they think should be done.

obviously sociopths can exhibit different levels of the condition and most may just be interpreted as survival of the fittest.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.87

however I am near Gandhi and Mandella just slightly less anarchic

edit: so compared to me all rightwingers are sociopaths and socialist politicians are right wingers

I'm always accused of being a fascist by people much more interested in taking away freedoms than myself, it's most amusing.

why is it a shame seems perfectly sensible to me

I thank Stalin may have lied when he did the test, there's no way he was that economically liberal, I mean his population didn't exactly share the wealth did they? He mostly kept it for him and his mates.
