Even better, according to Android & Me, 10.1 is due out within the next couple of months. There's a beta signup here if you want to get in soonest.
hmmm... my icon is the standard "globe" and says "internet" under it and its a T-Mobile handset bought from a T-Mobile shop.
@BalesLeftPeg If you'd submitted your details tuesday you'll be dandy fine! We'll get to you as soon as we can^BH
Talking to Voda, I'm not going to be getting it this week, but they have refunded my half this months contract cost at least.
This is getting a bit ridiculous.
Good afternoon,
We are contacting you as we have you on a list of people to be called when the HTC Desire becomes available.
At the moment, due to unprecedented demand, we do not have the handset available to send to you, but we will still contact you when we can to arrange the details of your deal so that the handset can be dispatched when it is back in stock.
We do not have a firm date for delivery of further stock of the HTC Desire, but rest assured we’re doing our utmost to complete the deals we’ve agreed.
To help us manage this situation effectively, please do not contact us via any other channel (e.g. Twitter or our hotline number), as we are working though this as best we can and wish to avoid unnecessary duplication of discussions to cut down on the time taken to contact you.
Please do not reply to this email as it has been sent from an unmonitored inbox and will not get a reply.
Kind regards
Vodafone Web Relations Team
Uh-oh.
Just noticed that VodafoneUKDeals are now replying to people with:
"Twitter exclusive deals that you may have seen on blog sites have now expired. We may tweet further ones in the future."
I'm still waiting on my call.
I swear a good 70% of the people they are replying to have only signed up to Twitter for this deal.
Judging from your other posts that makes us still valid for these stupidly good deals? Well, I say we, after a week or more (I can't remember tbf) I've still had no ticket number from any of the 3 emails I sent![]()
Did you message them on twitter too, I skipped that step
The Twitter bit was pretty vital I think. It's a Twitter exclusive deal.
But then, I didn't include my Twitter name in the email so there's no way they could know I contacted them via Twitter yet.
Mine looks like this:

OEM is this:

Which do you have Richie?
Well I mentioned twitter in the email, so maybe I can just blag it
For those who missed out on the twitter deal or the Phones4U deal, hit up dialaphone, HTC Desire on Orange £21.67 after redemption on an Dolphin 30, 18 month contract 300 mins, unlimited texts and Oranges 500MB internet bundle, sounds good to me, even if I would prefer to be on Vodafone
Mine looks like the first one but tbh you can hardly see the wnw bit...
