I have very, very little sympathy for the matador I'm afraid.
Ironically, I'm A- as well.![]()
That's not ironic, it's merely a coincidence.

Can't say the bull fighting appeals to me but in the same instance it doesn't bother me that much either. The bulls that are picked for "fights" live a lavish lifestyle up to the day of the fight. Traditionally, if the bull wins, then it is let free, but no doubt these days things are different.
I don't support it, but I'm not vehemently against it. Still, if you're going to go into a ring with a bull, then you take your chances with you. Good on the bull for winning that round.![]()
as for cultural experience, stoning people is in some places, I wouldn't do that either![]()
killing of anything for fun or entertainment is wrong really, even more so when they 'tamper' the bulls to make it less able to defend itself, not that it has much of a chance anyway :/

This thread has enraged me to the point where I am making a stand and boycotting Lamborghini in protest. I vow never to own one.
The sport certainly has changed a lot, however there is a lot of sensationalism either way (both pro and against it). Those that find it cowardly, I'd be interested to see how you'd fair in there! I don't think it's as easy as you think.
Again, I'm not defending it, just trying to offer a little bit of balance to the "OMG he's such a coward, hope he dies, lol" sort of reaction.

What a waste of emergency medicine. They should have thrown him into a bin, not an ambulance.17-pint blood transfusion
right...What a waste of emergency medicine. They should have thrown him into a bin, not an ambulance.
A top Spanish matador who suffered a horrendous, near-fatal goring in Mexico is recovering, his manager said Monday.
Doctors in Mexico are preparing to take matador Jose Tomas off sedation gradually and he is "totally out of danger," manager Salvador Boix said.
right...
What are your thoughts on bullfighting?
i don't really support bullfighting, but i find it slightly hypocritical be totally against it but still eat meat. the bulls that are killed in fights (and evidently in this case they are fights, not slaughter) live a much better life than those in the meat industry. how can you ban bullfighting but still kill millions of animals for the mass supermarket in arguably equally cruel ways? i am a not a vegetarian by the way.
Because stoning humans is the same as bullfighting.
