It's on certain shades of gray only, not web safe colours or something - a whole tech article written on it on XDA.
My pink issue was a dimmed display issue where a low brightness showed a pink tint on the whole screen - that isn't normal but pink around the grey buttons and the HTC site + others however is normal.
IIRC Google are fixing image quality issues.
Show me the cash first chump!
I posted a photo earlier!
Here's how it looked on the pink handset (right) next to my dad's Desire on orange:

As you can see, perfect!
Ah well at least its not just mine then, are you happy to keep it as it is,does it not bother you at all mate.
Wow, such a difference there! Glad you got it sorted fella.
I hope mine isn't like that or I will be going to my local Vodafone shop to get a swap.
(Them Desires looks like they have a black glossy finish in the bottom pics, looks great lol.)

Cash you say!
Just send me your bank details I send you monies...
At the very least you'll be able to uninstall some of the standard apps like the Stock checker and Teeter (!) and others, freeing up valuable memory! After that there is Apps2SD, custom ROM installations (Cyan ports), camera hacks, divx/mkv/x264etc should all be possible given the chipset these things have!Would you say this has the pink issue?>

It's hard to tell with just one handset on the pic as the camera white balance could throw it off but immediately to me that looks fine! There will always be a hint of pink here and there, AMOLED as mentioned above but it should not look like how mine did above!

Also got a silicon case/skin coming from HK was only £1.55![]()
It doesn't look as clear as your second shot. Is that your fathers one next to it again?
Mine just doesn't seem that bright on that same brightness settings
