So do you advocate a collation of net losers? Both lost seats and votes this election. Furthermore, with that logic, a Lib-Con pact would represent the will of the people much better than a lib-lab one, and if people stopped frothing at the mouth and actually looked at the policies of the parties, would probably make more sense if Cameron offers the olive branch of a free vote on political reform.

For the sake of having a strong majority government I hope that Cameron makes an appropriate offer to the Lib Dems.

I'm hoping if Lib Dems do form a Coalition with Labour it is on the basis that Gordon Brown resigns. I would be extremely happy if this were to happy.

Though really, if Brown/Labour were so bad then why did Cameron/Tories not win by a land slide?

People should realise that it's clear that the majority of the British public still do not trust the Conservatives.

The 247 of Labour + 51 of Lib Dems + the 20 or so others confirms this.

Finally a sensible post.

people try and say theirs no such thing as a north/south divide : i think you only have to look at this to see otherwise.

not to be racist or whatever: but the sooner we let scotland be free or whatever they want and stop voting in this election the better for england.

Totally agree with this. Although you cant blame them in Scotland they have been laughing under 13 years of Labour. Just look at them, 1 in 10 econmically independant, free tuition, free perscriptions and free hospital car parks.

They certainly are not idiots.

lets move Hadrian's wall down south 150 miles :)

we need something to be honest, the fact that theirs a clear devide is not good.

im all for full Scottish independence, its really clear their views and needs are completely different to england/wales/ni . the sooner it happens the sooner the elections are fairer and they can stop demanding so much money and crying neglect from the uk gov.

You've got to laugh at the Tories. lol.

They've obviously done something wrong with their campaign if 13 years of Labour can mess up the country, put it into recession rack up a massive national debt and *still* people vote for labour.

The tories did far better than Labour did in 2005.

The majority of the British public never trusted Labour either.

No, that confirms that the system is biased in that the same proportion of the vote leads to different results depending on the party.

bacause labour have a terrible benefit system and that all the scroungers and benefit cheats know that labour is the best choice

that will be the 1,000,000's of immigrants they have shipped in to bolster there support.( they have been found to favour labour( I wonder why))

They cannot shake their Thatcher tag and rightly so. I want Brown out, but I certainly don't want the Tories in. There are too many people like me and they voted Labour.

Plus Cameron is a slimy plastic faced lizard, he looks like he should be on the new series of V. How could you trust him?

From the BBC

"Gordon Brown has authorised civil servants to offer support about how to form a government to politicians from all parties involved in discussions."

bring the public services this side of the border and leave them to fend for themselves, there's only so many aran jumpers and skag deals to keep them afloat, that'll learn em;)
