I'm not sure if that was a sarcastic comment or not, but giving you the benefit of the doubt, I agree there has to be a redistribution, but it's completely weighted in favour of the feckless and work shy. That's just wrong.

You wanted a fairer taxation system though? meaning you pay less?
Just because the funds are perhaps overspent on the safety net for those out of work doesn't mean that there aren't those at the poorer end of society who shouldn't be supported.

Taxation funds need to be directed better, I don't think they can afford to tax you less though...

Well, that's no worse than what happened under Labour...

On a more positive note, we might actually get the deficit under control ;)

Yeah thats true.

At what cost?

NHS, JOBS. Teacher CUTS

The Fat cats don't care.

I'm all right Jack ,Keep your hands off my stack.

I'm with BUPA

Of course.

Just because the funds are perhaps overspent on the safety net for those out of work doesn't mean that there aren't those at the poorer end of society who shouldn't be supported.

For those who are genuinely in need, and have no other means of support, then that's fine. But we all know a portion of those on benefits are cheating the system, or are just bloody lazy.

Ssssh you ;)

Without sounding really naïve, does anyone think that a right wing view of corporations and a left wing view of (eeerrr everything else) Housing/benifiets are workable?

Its 'worked' since the 40's and if you include pensions since the 1900's. It isn't perfect by a long way but nor are the alternatives.
