Export your contacts from the iPhone to your gmail account. Once there in gmail they will sync to your phone.

I am currently exporting my contacts from the N900 to Gmail, quite a long winded way of doing it (in the N900's case), but certainly a time saver :p

Has anyone had any issues where the backlight doesn't seem to come back on when you take the phone away from your face during a call? Means I have to press the power button to bring the screen back up. It's only just stared doing this :s.

No problems here mate.

Got a case that covers the sensor slightly or anything?

Sometimes, just make sure your hand doesn't cover the sensor. If your hand isn't covering the sensor, placing a finger over the sensor and removing it again seems to work for me lol.

Well just got back from the t-mobile shop where for the £15 a month plan that my friend is on with the £150 for handset, they now want £600 for the handset. Wouldnt budge. Can buy it sim free for less so I may use that mobiles.co.uk site.

Anyone got phone from mobiles.co.uk? How do I go about keeping the number from my O2 iphone on a new tmobile desire from mobiles.co.uk? :/

*#@?!?! Are they having a laugh?

He said it has gone up due to the phones popularity. But its still £180 on the mobiles.co.uk site but i am just worried i will get shafted with the contract by t-mobile some how. Maybe not get the unlimited 3gb net and be stuck on their throttled 1gig or something.

Really wanna get it ordered today

Could go for t-mobile or call to cancel my iphone with o2 and maybe just get desire on o2. Been having really bad experiences with o2 lately though with calls cutting off and poor reception so switching to t-mobile is really tempting......what would people recommend?

Had a quick search but couldn't find anything on the topic but my HTC Desire has had a problem texting one specific person. Everyone else in my contacts is okay to text and he can text me but I can't reply to him most the time. Sometimes it manages to go through but about 90% of the time it doesn't work. Anyone else had this problem?

Is he on a diff network to your other friends? Else did you enter his number with all the +44 country code stuff maybe?

He is on O2 and so are a few of my mates and its fine texting them. He can phone me too and if i try and phone him it says number not recognized. hmm... Don't have the +44 on the front just his plain number.

Edit: Think I've figured it out - He had his facebook number set up wrong so when the number linked with his facebook account it would change to the invalid number.
