It does it on other handsets apparently which is bloody galling, still, even as a messaging/call interface it's handy in portrait.

It only wont do it on the Desire at the minute because it's not officially supported. It will soon!

His theme is what comes with Android 2.2 so he must have a Nexus, the icons are also Nexus.

Not sure about the clock tho
