Adebayor might be on his way to AC from what SSN were saying earlier today...
 
No reason for Modric (or the club for that matter) to do anything else really - and good on all of them involved - 6 year deal is pretty long though even for someone as young as he is.

Highly unlikely anyone was going to get him after Spurs got 4th place/CL place (albeit qualifier)
 
I don't see what a contract extension changes, the player gets a big wage increase until a big club comes in for them and they'll get unhappy and the club will be forced to sell.

Edit, though saying that perhaps it could signify the end of Arshavin and/or Rosicky. Wouldn't be surprise to see the latter leave, but it is very annoying. The guy's easily capable of being world class but will never fulfill that if that makes any sense. Arshavin according to some blogs wants money. If he goes to Spain he pays 27% less income tax. :/

Can't see Cole going to Arsenal, even if they lose Fabregas. They need defenders and a goalie, not another creative player.
 
Ah well the dream signings of Dzeko & Modric are now officially dead

I guess we'll be left with J.Cole on a free and that will be that :(

I can. I can envisage that Eduardo, Rosicky or/and Arshavin, Denillson, Silvestre, Fabianski and Allminia all leave. Gallas will walk out. Will need a really good keeper, two centre backs a defensive midfielder and someone creative, that would be Joe Cole.

He would fit in nicely. Plays good attacking football and could provide some crosses for Chamakha.

We do need those but if we lose Fab then we definitely need someone who could step into his shoes...hopefully Ramsey will make a full recovery as he was being primed to take over from Fab...but if he doesnt then i cant see anyone else being as good as Fabregas.
 
I've always thought that Cole would be excellent in an Arsenal shirt. If Arsenal can afford his wages I think it'd be an excellent move, he'd also fit in well if his injuries continue.

I'd much prefer Gourcuff though, he's prettier too
