Correct.

You could flash it back to stock, and install it then, which should safely update the Bootloader. I'm unsure.

I suppose there's no way to get it on Modaco's ROM as an update without Paul doing it. Unless it's been done at XDA like that.
 
Regarding the music not picking up the tags - it seems as though it has to have v1 tags to get all the information! Trying out theories.

I use Mp3tag for my tagging - anyone else use this know the quickest way to make sure everything has an v1 tag by copying from the v2?

Yes, all of those are documented problems I've probably mentioned 10+ times in this thread :p

I think it's pretty damn good and it's usable as a primary OS.

Well i have read about the sensor issue, didnt know it would damage the brightness soo much, facebook is only mentioned as an issue with .5 so i tried .4 first... no joy. The stuttry swipe thing i havent seen mentioned.

Now i cant decided if i should pap on the ruu or modaco... :/
 
My facebook contacts dont seem to be listed so that I can link them to my google contacts any more..... any ideas? I click link to facebook profile and the list is empty and search does nothing :(
 
Rubbish I think I've figured it out! It requires sense!! That's the only thing I want back from sense now :(

Edit: I'm wrong. My facebook contacts just won't sync with my phone.....

Can anyone tell me if the Desire plays divx movies?

Or if it has an app similar to Coreplayer for windows mobile (plays almost any video format)?
 
No, I think there's an update coming this year to support xvid/divx files. In the meantime, you could try the yxplayer app.. it's not that great and it's only a trial version.

Go to People > Online directories > Facebook

Press menu button and click Refresh

If it's the same problem I was having, that fixes it, stupid thing !
